The Chamber of Commerce and Industry initiates "EcoMédias" to support the production of media content.

The Minister of Communication and Relations with the Parliament, Spokesperson of the Government, has today officially launched the call for projects for the production of media content dedicated to the economy, finance and development of the sector private.

Part of the finding that the share reserved by the various media outlets to economic subjects is relatively low, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry intends to arouse and accompany the production of newspaper articles and the production of audiovisual reports that will contribute to improving and to diversify the program schedule of national public and private media.

"EcoMédias" is therefore a media support initiative for the production of content dedicated to the economy, finance and the promotion of the private sector. With a budget of 52 million CFA francs, it aims to award the top 11 projects in the categories radio, television, print and online press.

"EcoMédias 2019" exclusively concerns the media legally constituted and established in Burkina Faso

Applications will be received by Monday, December 16, 2019.
